Mina Pichtikova
I’m a senior-level doctoral supervised therapist, practicing under the supervision of Dr. Katherine Holshausen. I am currently completing my PhD in Clinical and Counselling Psychology at OISE. I support adults and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, OCD, relationship challenges, or a sense of being stuck, whether in emotions, roles, or patterns that no longer feel helpful or true to who they are.
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and finding someone you genuinely trust can feel even harder. My priority is to offer a space where you feel understood and safe to show up fully, without having to filter or explain away your experience.
Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed by the pressure to hold everything together. They carry coping patterns or roles that once helped them manage life’s challenges but now feel out of step with who they are and what they want. Instead of running on autopilot, we’ll slow things down. Together, we’ll explore what’s been going on beneath the surface, make sense of your experiences, and begin moving toward growth that feels meaningful and aligned with the kind of life and relationships you want to build.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I bring care, curiosity, and compassion into the room, while also gently challenging the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Therapy offers a chance to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself, your values, and what matters most.
Whether you’re ready, or just beginning to wonder what change could look like, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
